Cedar Strip Stand-Up Paddleboard

  • Artist and photographer Katya Palladina (www.palladina.com) built this cedar strip stand-up paddle board with a little help from me. It is an "Orca" board built from a kit from Wood Surfboard Supply (www.woodsurfboardsupply.com), 12 feet long, 30 1/4 inches wide, and 4 3/4 inches thick, equipped with an adjustable glass fin.

Annabel Lee, a Joel White Pooduck Skiff

  • Annabel lee-16
"Annabel Lee" is a sailing dinghy designed by Joel White, an American naval architect who is famous for his classic designs. I chose his Pooduck Skiff for its excellent rowing and sailing ability as well as ease of construction. She took 17 months to build and was christened July 5th, 2008. LOA 12 ft 10 in, beam 4 ft 6 in, draft (centerboard up) 6.5 in, draft (centerboard down) 1 ft 9 in.
